Bringing a dog park to Forney has become quite the hot topic as of late. The subject was even front and center during the last election cycle. While the city of Forney is currently considering various sites for a location, a group of citizens have come together to help research, plan, design, and fund the project. The group is dubbed Fido And Friends Of Forney. They have secured a spot on the June 19th Parks Board agenda and have now created a petition for signatures in order to show the interest Forney citizens have in making this happen. They are asking for your support in signing the petition and showing up to the Parks Board meeting. Below you can find a link to the petition as well as information on the Parks Board meeting.
