I’ve been planning on doing an article on my Facebook page highlighting my favorite things in and around Forney for months and I am finally getting around to it. My plan is to post them on Fridays to coincide with your weekend planning and they will just be quick little articles highlighting my favorite things in and around Forney. So, lets get started.
I’m a big foodie. I’d eat out every night if I could afford it. I try places all over the metroplex but we have some great places to eat right here in Forney. One of those places is Eno’s Pizza. Sure, they’re known for their pizza but there’s an item on their menu that reigns as king. As seen above, the Italian Beef Sandwich is in the top three of the best things to eat in Forney. You can order this sandwich many different ways including with sweet peppers, hot peppers, mushrooms, provolone cheese, or blue cheese crumbles. I order mine with all of the above except I switch between cheeses from visit to visit. Provolone one visit, blue cheese crumbles the next. The au jus shown really sets off the sandwich. I also suggest ordering the fries well done for extra crunch. Next time you go to Eno’s in downtown Forney try this thing out and let me know what you think! Have a great weekend!
