During Tuesday night’s meeting the Forney city Council will have several items to consider as part of a lengthy agenda. Some of those items include a new Quick N Clean carwash at the corner of 548 and 1641 across from Racetrac and Firestone, along with a retail strip center that will accompany the development. Also on the southside of town is a proposed Fox Daycare (plat only) and retail strip center at the corner of 548 and College next to 7 Eleven. Next, there is an item on the agenda pertaining to a future industrial development that would be located next to Steve Silver on the northside of town. The agenda item includes consideration of a Chapter 380 Agreement that would provide tax incentives to the developer to offset development costs to extend Ridgecrest rd. east to Reeder rd., as well as relocate a sewer line to the southern portion of the development. Lastly, the preliminary and final plats for the multi-family portion of Trailhouse Park near Kroger is up for consideration.
