Wednesday evening the Forney City Attorney was arrested for DWI in Rockwall. Sources familiar with the incident say Ms. Smith was “hammered” and stopped in the middle of a road and told a passerby that stopped to check on her that she was too drunk to drive. Story developing.
UPDATE: Sources have told The state of Forney that Ms. Smith’s alcohol level tested over double the legal limit and she was allegedly arrested earlier this year for another alcohol related offense.
UPDATE 8:30am: According to bustednewspaper.com the Forney City Attorney was also arrested in Rockwall County on March 12th of this year for public intoxication.
