During Tuesday’s rescheduled City Council meeting several items of discussion are on the agenda including the potential eminent domain of property to make way for the Ridgecrest extension across 548, as well as several new commercial properties including more industrial, a new carwash, emergency care clinic, Salad and Go, HTeaO, and a new tire and auto repair shop. The agenda also includes discussion and possible action pertaining to the annexation of land within the Las Lomas development that will include approximately 10,000 new homes/apartments, additional industrial development, and retail. They will also consider a plat and site plan for the new Ed Wilson Elementary School, more industrial development near the Fox Hollow neighborhood, an amendment to Fire Department Civil Service pay, and the addition of a permanent drive-thru canopy for Chick Fil A.
